The Club

Yacht Club Punta Ala, founded in 1976, has a new club house built in 1995  located in a modern marina   in the wonderful background of the Tuscan Archipelago with its islands of Elba, Capraia, Gorgona, Giglio and Giannutri. All these destinations are well known and popular nautical tourist spots , in the heart of the Tirrenian sea, for the beauty of the nature and the wealth of history and culture. Punta Ala is located in the heart of Maremma, a region of Tuscany rich with ancient traditions and many Etruscan, Roman and medieval archaeological sites. It lies between the countryside and the sea and it is surrounded by beautiful hills with variety of natural landscapes, with meadows, hills, flowers framed by the  blue setting of Tirrenian sea. The Punta Ala resort includes, private villas, luxury hotels, golf courses, riding stables as well as polo fields and tennis courts.  Many restaurants offer all the varieties of the Tuscan cuisine with a wide range of quality wines and gourmet dishes. In this beautiful setting the Punta Ala Yacht Club organizes national and international sport events.

HOW TO GET PUNTA ALA

from NORTH  drive down the highway from Genoa to Leghorn and leve in Rosignano , join the freeway and leave in Scarlino, then turn into the main road driving for 20km toward Punta Ala.

from SUD  join the highway and leave it in Civitavecchia, the join the freeway to Grosseto and join tne main road to Punta Ala.
